Telford Town and Southport have both confirmed managerial departures this week, with Mike Dunn resigning from his position at Telford and Mark Duffy leaving Southport by mutual consent.
Telford Town confirmed Dunn's resignation on Thursday evening, announcing that the first-team manager had stepped down with immediate effect. The club thanked Dunn for his efforts during his time in charge and wished him well for the future.
Telford currently sit 18th in their league table, having collected just six points from 11 matches, with one victory, three draws and seven defeats.
Meanwhile, Southport announced Duffy's departure on Tuesday, confirming that his contract had been terminated by mutual agreement.
The club issued a brief statement thanking Duffy for his efforts and wishing him well, but the announcement has since prompted considerable debate among supporters and followers on social media. Much of the discussion has centred on Duffy's reported political views and social media activity, with some commentators alleging that these played a part in his departure.
Southport's official statement, however, did not provide a reason for the decision beyond confirming the mutual termination of his contract.
